OK, how about this for exciting.
Another exclusive from our haunted house.

I took this picture just after Thanksgiving. One of our daughters noticed a smudge on the big screen from across the room. When I checked it out, we first thought that Mad Max had been on top of the TV. But how the he!! did he get a paw print like this? It's like 4 feet off the floor and on top of the TV is the digital receiver.

Does this look like a paw print? Yes. Does it make sense the direction it's going? Not to ME

I think is a coincidential, could be the impression of the palm of someones hand then adjusted the finger pressure just below it (grabbing something above the tv, using the tv for support).

The photo is pretty dark to see it, I had to save and load it in photoshop, boost up the levels (or invert the colors), just to see it. it looks 1 or 2 partial hand prints, a childs? I think your spooking yourself out. :p

Actually, we DO live in a haunted house. There's been a few threads in the past that I've posted pictures and stories. The Washington State Ghost Society has been out 3 times for investigations, one local paranormal group, and we have one from the Seattle area coming over next month. Not a house for the feint of heart.

as a person owned by many cats, let me tell you it could be from Max. I have one cat the leaps from the back of my recliner up on top of a cupboard just a few inches from the ceiling. I have another that regularly leaps 4 to 5 feet in the air after a feather toy.

He could have jumped up on top of the tv and tried to get comfortable but been spooked or impatient and placed a paw there to get the leverage to jump back down.

rick, please post ghost stories!
I love 'em. My last house had one that hated it if I took a nap and would wake me up. And once it (or a different one) shoved my book off the desk - it was a BIG book, bigger than a Bible, my desk was level and it had been sitting there for a few minutes before it just went THUNK on the floor. My dog and I both just stared at it for a moment.

Right after we moved in here it seemed I had a "helpful" one but I don't see much of her lately. Things like shutting the door all the way, or adjusting the crisper setting... there was some others, can't think of them right now.

There are actualy weapons that are being designed and tested with the use of low and higher frequencies than we normaly can hear.

the infrasonic (low frequencies) waves in the room may have been responsible by making people’s eyeballs vibrate, causing blurring of their vision and hallucinations at the edges of their visual field.

It could very much happen, besides wanting to puke your guts out, or the feeling your ears are about to burst.

Look up in google:
Low frequency sound, Low frequency sounds vs Haunted houses, sonic weapons, the ear.

Where do Infrasonic sounds come from? The elephant creates a sound way below our own hearing.

But it is possable to reproduce low or high frequencies, just have to have the right equipment.

The mean ones bother me.

The one we had that hated it if I took a nap - I got the distinct sense she felt I was lazy. I would hear someone walk from the kitchen to the couch, and stand over me. I KNEW something was there.

Eventually, that wasn't enough to get me up. So then she would touch me - my ears would ring, I'd get chills - it was awful.

A little part of me has always wondered what would happen when the people who lived in my current house died. Like I said - I'm on the fence with the whole concept of ghosts and paranormal stuff.

The folks who lived in my house, lived there for 40 years. That's a long damn time to live in a house. We've sent them christmas cards and letters about our improvements to the place every year since we moved in. The wife is now passed on, but the husband is still alive.

So far, nothing unusual has happened, and I pretty much expect it to stay that way.

LeftBrain Artist

There's so much going on in our house, it would be a waste of time to make stuff up. I'll go thru my stuff here at work and see if I have more pictures here.

Ahhh, don't bother. I'm just giving you a hard time, I've seen a few of the pictures you've posted in the past so I know your situation. Personally, I've never seen or heard anything to support existence of ghosts, but I've never been at your house either, and you have. Anything is possible I suppose.

I once thought I heard whispering at my house while I was sleeping - after a few months of hearing that off and on, I got up to check it out. Turned out it was duct tape that had come loose inside the heat vent behind the register, and was rubbing against the side of the vent occasionally when the heat came on - sometimes it was blown into a postion that kept it from moving around too much, and sometimes it was blown free to rub and make the whispering scratching sound (it was an old brittle piece of duct tape). When you've got an old house, there's a lot of things like that that can occur that are hard to explain, but there's always an explanation.

Still, the human mind is powerful enough to conjure all sorts of images that aren't there, or exaggerate things beyond what they should be. Especially when you're alone. That whispering, scratching sound I heard seemed to move throughout the walls, even though it was really in a fixed location.

The orb in your photo could very well be a supernatural entity, but more likely its a cat hair in motion - given the proximity of the cat to the lens.
The smudge on your tv screen could have occurred in a number of completely normal, natural ways. And the same with that image in the window you posted a while back. Does this mean your interpretations of the events in your surroundings are simply the results of overactive imagination, not necessarily. But it is very hard to believe.

I do believe that the human mind is responsible for the creation of the supernatural world, gods and devils, good and evil, morality and amorality. And such is its power that it can rationalize the most abhorrent acts as perfectly acceptable while at the same time villifying the most virtuous actions. And the rationale will make sense. While my interpretation of the events you've experienced may be considered more scientific and factual, the concept of science and fact are also constructions of the human mind, so who am I to say if they are any more or less correct than interpretations based on faith and superstition.

OK, here's our Christmas story. I snore. Sometimes quite loudly. So I'm told. My wife, Darci, gave up on getting me to change positions so went down to the couch in the living room. Mad Max stays in the bedroom with us at night and he was still on my legs when she went down, closing the door behind her.

10 minutes after she layed down, the Christmas tree, about 10 feet behind the couch, started shaking. For about 30 seconds. She shouted ouot "Knock it off" and the shaking stopped. Then one of Mad Max' cat toys about 5 feet in front of the couch, the round donut shaped thing with the ball that scoots around the outside when the cat plays with it, the ball started rolling and rolling around and around and the tree started shaking again. Darci turned on the TV to see the ball still rolling. This was one of the only times that there was something going on in front AND behind her. That was enough, she came back to bed. I volunteered to go down to the couch but she stopped me, saying "I really woudn't go down there right now!"

2 days later, one of our tennage daughters got up around 4:30 to go to the bathroom. For some reason (I guess because she's a teenager) she took her cell phone and ended up calling her sister upstairs in bed to come down and get her because she heard the ball going around and around in the cat toy and wouldn't go back to bed by herself.

This stuff happens all the time. No sh!t. I don't need to make it up. Wouldn't serve any purpose. We're not looking for people to go "oooo awwwww". Just something we like to share because it's so unique.

Ouija boards are bad, bad things.
My mom and her sisters were playing with one once as kids, and they all got spooked when the chandelier started shaking.

My uncle, I found out, started playing with one as a teenager with a bunch of friends in a graveyard one halloween night. This is when the gore movies were in and they LOVED to scare themselves sh!tless and not be able to sleep for a while. It was really a creepy game, and apparently somebody threw the game board after something happened - and they searched the yard and could not find the game.

Yeaa, sleep over!!

I do need to say that I never push my opinions on anybody. I am from a Lutheran family and my wife is very Catholic. We both practice our beliefs in day to day life though we don't feel that you have to go to a building on a particular day of the week to prove your beliefs.

We are very easy going people.

If you believe in ghosts and the paranormal or not, it is not my place in life to judge anybody or anybody else's place to judge others. You believe what you believe. So I'm used to skepticism.

Since this case is against the sons 2 prominent politicians in Milwaukee there were 80 possible jurors and they whittled it down to 12 plus 2 or 3 reservists. The odds were in my favor. Plus by my count I had at least 3 strikes against me.
1. My grandfather was a MPD Detective.
2. I worked on a political campaign in 2004
3. The defendants are up on charges of criminal damage to property and I have a conviction for the same crime. (Mailbox baseball game when I was 17)
