Wacom Intuos 3 tablet/mouse

Well I was wondering if it is possible to change the mouse settings so that it's more like my optical mouse. When I use my optical mouse and have the front facing fowards it'll go up; when I have the front facing left is still goes up. When I use my tablet mouse it goes the direct it's pushed, no matter which way the front is pointing.

So my question is: can I make my tablet mouse go in the direction in relation to where the front is facing.... does this make sense?

i would think not because i believe it reads the movement from the movement on the tablet, not from the mouse. do u get what im saying?

Yeah, that's exactly what I was afraid of. Oh well, I usually just use my pen on it anyways.
