http://userpic.livejournal.com/12436879/925150 So yesterday I'm running around in jeans and a sweatshirt outside. It was a beautiful 45-ish degrees outside...

Today I wake up to 2-3 inches of snow on the ground!! Complete with the idiot drivers, who after only a few weeks, have managed to forget how to drive in the snow! Grrr!

The roads really weren't that bad. They had been mostly cleared and salted when I left the house this morning. The worst hazard were the drivers. They either felt it was necessary to go only 10mph in the passing lane or some members of the SUV crowd seemed intent on speeding past, then slowing down to cut you off... all the while believing that they were invincible because they have an SUV and 'SUVs never slide off the road in bad weather'.

Same here mads....stupid snow. I refuse to shovel it also...just to spite it.

On my way to work, there wasn't any snow to be seen, not even on the side of the roads, now, 4 hours later, there's about 4' on the ground.

Grrr.. I hate winter

It has been in the 40 to 60's for the last month. A couple weeks ago it was 75. But for some reason I have a little bit of a cold. :(

Tyger,

It's awesome. I so hated getting up and trying to warm up the car in 0 degree weather. then driving to and from work in the snow (which increased my commuting time). Only to get home to look forward to shoveling in the dark. Screw that. 9 months of crap only to wait for 3 months of rain. Now I have 12 months of glorious weather. You can't beat that!

No offense defjoe but my Florida experience wasn't so wonderful - I visited my great-grandmother in Lake Mary (during the summer) when I was a kid and the things I remember most weren't very pleasant. It was SO humid it was hard to get your clothing on and either I've exagerated this in my mind or the bugs really were extra-super-sized - I swear I saw a 2 or 3-inch cockroach, and I walked out my gram's back door and almost stepped on a water-moccasin.

If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done.
(When I grow up I want to be just like Keyare! He does excellent work - even when he's trying to not to.)

Oh it's a beautifull day here in NY. Just yesterday as a matter of fact it was snowing. Yes wonderful moist and slippery snow. Then my wife gets a flat and I'm trying to meat a Dam dealine so I have to rush straight out of work and change a tire in the !@#$%ing snow!!!

Yes !@#% the snow and the !@#$%ing snow man!!!

It was 80 in Dallas today. Same tomorrow. Already hotter than I like it. What have I done? The summers cook down here.

I just bought this year's fishing license. The lake hasn't even thawed yet, now we got another foot of snow. Fish are safe for a little while longer.

Lake Mary is the next town over from me, north. I love it here. I will take this anyday over crappy NE weather. Everything is so gray up there. you have like 3 good days out of the year. I was soooooooo sick of it. Winter is way to long and summer way to short. I can handle the humidity here. you really do get use to it.

i think i could deal with the warmth...if only i could get my entire family to relocate! seriously we are so close knit it is hard to imagine ever leaving the nj/ny/pa area. according to them i can't take 'their baby' (my 2yo son) away from them.

i swear philly gray days are the worst in the country. i love this city but it absolutely loses all its charm on a rainy or snowy day. today is 40s, at least the sun is out but tomorrow it is supposed to SNOW...bleccchhhh...i honestly think i could leave winter behind and not turn back. BUT...for the NE people...isn't it just the greatest feeling to know spring is approaching after having suffered for so many cold months? if i went south i might actually miss the transition and start taking it for granted. /emoticons/smile.gif

last week, it was slightly warmer, and i noticed a daffodil and a robin in my front yard...it completely made my day!
