My client made their own videos to be placed on their website. For some reason, they will not play for me, but will play for others. I'm not sure if it's "me" or what the deal is. If you can, will you please check it out....
here is the web page:

here is the actual location of the videos:

I believe the files are too large. I noticed one around 120megs.

I run Mac OS10.3.9 and it came up fine in Quicktime but yeah, file was huge. Granted I'm on satellite but my patience ran out.

What is an ideal file size? I'd like to relay this info to my client so their future videos won't be an issue....... Thanks!

I'm not sure what ideal size would be. I'd go and check some other sites that have videos and compare.

team ropin girl, you are going to need a video compressor or something of that sort to get that on the page. I would estimate a big file size to be something like 50 megs, smallest would be around 18-20. there are video compressors out there that will shrink that thing down for you so you can place it on the web.
im not web savvy at all, I just know a tad bit about video (and no its not all the prOn) ;)

Whoever puts out the videos can decide a lot about them when they create them. MPEG is a good small file size, but they can control the dimensions of the file, the framerate, the audio quality, etc. and that goes a Loooonnng way toward changing the final size of a video.
5 MB for a around 3 minutes if it's well-compressed and you don't mind some quality loss. Gotta give up something, it seems!
