I have a newsletter that was designed in Quark in 2 colors: black and reflex blue. But a map that is in the newsletter was designed in Illustrator using a different blue. Our problem is that when we try to print the separations out of Quark, the map prints out in its own separation...not in the reflex blue. And we can't figure out how to change the colors in Illustrator to match the color in Quark. Any suggestions? Please help!

Are there two different blues showing up in the colors palette in Quark?

As long as the illustrator map is set in a spot color you can double click the swatch used and change the name to exactly what the Quark plate name is. Copy and Paste works best.

MD is correct. Copy and paste will assure that the color names in Quark and Illy are exacly the same.
