I am on OS 10.3.5
I do a lot of proofing of pdfs and have finally
realized my computer is not seeing them the way they really are.
Fonts look weird and scrunched and horrible.
I am so stupid about all this stuff it drives me crazy!
If I click on a pdf most of the time it will be read by my "Preview" program.
Sometimes it will go to Acrobat Reader which I just realized is 5.0.
So I just downloaded 7.0 and re-started my computer but I can't find it!
Things are still opening with 5.0.
Any help for this helpless person would be appreciated!

You should do a "sofware update" to update your OS to 10.3.9. under the apple on the menu bar.

Make sure you blow away acrobat anything version 5.
Get Acrobat 7 with the overprint preview , and the seps preview
