I work globally but I wouldn’t mind focusing on Canadian content.

Try Google. :) Or Superpages.ca... I don't know if Freelance project websites are any good for copywriters. They are a place to avoid for Graphic Designers, that much I can say...

Oh yeah... There is one good forum that I know of based in Vancouver (with Canada-wide content) which has a lot of copywriters advertising and posting on: http://www.techvibes.com/
