are you free drawing on a tablet? or scanning in then vectoring over? I would really like to learn your process...although, I shoudl learn how to draw first. ;)

usually i do this:
for vectors i start using a 3d model then i vecor over it. sometimes i draw on a paper then scan then vector it..i never start vector with no ref and i never use tablet for vector :)

for PhotoShop draws i usually make a scketch on a paper then i draw over it with the tablet.sometimes i use the 3d model for proportion references.
