Just wanted to share this with everyone. I had an opportunity to take an airbrush class with Mickey Harris...a world renowned artist. This guy is amazing and so enjoyable as a teacher. The class was 9 hours and worth every penny I spent. We got to use the new water-based 'Auto Air' paint.
This was my first attempt at airbrushing. I've used an airbrush before but for just painting solid colors...nothing like this.
We started with an hour or so of basic techniques and then progressed through a few projects...
Here's my first project...a beveled block...

Second project distressed metal, rivets and a tear...

Third was a woodgrain technique...totally amazing...

Lastly, me doing 'realistic' flames although they don't look too 'realistic'

The class was thoroughly enjoyable, but I prefer doing my work on my trusty Mac, where I can easily fix mistakes! My airbrush work is far too shabby to make a future at it, but I picked up quite a few tips for painting my wifes Mustang this spring.
Anyway...let me know what you think.
