Hi people,
Doing a design for a nightclub, they want vector art. What I need is feed back on the design and ideas for the background. The design is not finished throughout, needs tweaking.
All feedback most welcome!!

It lacks information.
The woman appears to be floating/squatting in front of a red blob.
Her left hand appears to lodged in her skull.
Drop in some detail and shadows to show a bit of depth in the picture, add some more information and repost it.

LOL should almost put a NSFW on the post title, I had to breeze by that image lol even though she is wearing a bikini. I dont want to risk anyone walking by with that on my screen.

Between the expression on her face and the position of her body, the illustration is not working the way I think you want it to. I am sure the general look you're going for is "sexy", but she looks like she is trying to pass a kidney stone or something.
The proportions are not accurate, and the shading could be done more effectively. You might want to check some reference photos.
The text is difficult to read. Why did you choose that font? Does it relate to the club in some way?
Is it a NIGHT club, or a STRIP club, by the way?
I would sit down and brainstorm and sketch up some ideas to figure out where you want this to go before working on the actual vector.

To be honest I think the image is just crude, rather than sexy. IMO a vector image of a woman doing a sexy pose, rather than simply spread legs, would do a lot better.

seriously, she looks like she is screaming in pain. Maybe if you half lowered her eyelids and gave her some pouty lips or something... just tweak her expression to say "come hither".
You can portray "sexy" without having her legs spread wide open. I mean, if it's a club, you might want to have her leaning against the bar while seated on a high bar stool. Or looking back over her shoulder at the viewer. Maybe drinking out of a straw or something.
Maybe have her wearing a long skirt with a high slit up the side, or a even a miniskirt and some naughty looking boots. I don't know anybody who would wear a bikini to a club* - unless they were a stripper or something.

hell, if it's a strip club, slap her against a pole and call it a day.
or put her in a skimpy little costume, like a police officer, or a nurse, or a maid or something.

why not ask the club owner for some photos of the girls in poses or on stage and use them as templates. Duh....*severe sarcasm* just push the vector work and work in a background that reinforces her presence on the picture plane. Just think sexy, evocative, and as morea so eloquently put it "come hither".

lol @ typo, my the honest buck! although,...being brave...i must agree.
Is this an outdoor sign or "in house" bar type sign? One thing to keep in mind is that there are representational works and symbolic or iconic type works in vector designs, and i think you are resting on the shade of gray in between. This may not be a good place to be. I think the image becomes much more stable when you lean to one side of the fence or the other. Try going with knock-out, simple elegant line art styles or straight photo.
