This is the first time I've started a thread in my life, and I wish I had found this site years ago...
I'm looking for a full time graphic design job in or near a large city, preferably east of the Mississippi. I have 6 years work experience, and a website with my portfolio and resume: www.QuiteGraphic.com (http://www.QuiteGraphic.com)
Does anyone know of any openings? Or have any suggestions.
I've posted resumes and/or portfolios on CareerBuilder, Monster, CreativeHotlist, coroflot, HotJobs, HelpWanted.com, AmericasJobBank, thingamajob, etc. And made over 180 contacts (cold calls, and companies who posted jobs).
Any and all help is appreciated, and if I can ever help anyone, I promise, I will.

Heh. I was reminded of forum games from long ago. Someone would post a link on a forum "Check this out, omg so funny", and it would link to a thread that would link to anohter forum, and on and on. Members would reply supporting the "omg so funny" thread that just didnt exist.

Thanks for the links, they were actually helpful, and encouraging.
There's a job fair about an hour from me, most likely there'll only be factory and IT jobs, but I'm gonna go and take that chance.
