i know theres lot to learn for me.. so please give me some advise : )
It's hard to offer advice without knowing a little bit about the company and what they're trying to achieve. We don't need to be able to read it, but if you can elaborate on what they're selling, who their customers are, what their goals are, what they'll be using the logo for, that would help.

masonry?
I would have guessed that it was a house painting business. The tool looks like a paint roller -- what do masonry tools look like?

joey,
doen zij slechts installaties? op dit ogenblik concentreert uw embleem zich op een dak. concentreren zij zich op daken of concentreren zij zich hoofdzakelijk bij bricking?
lol. how is my dutch?

het is een voeg bedrijf, het tooldingetje moet een voegspijker voorstellen..

joey,
gotcha. we should speak english so everyone else can follow. the fact that it is a joint company doesnt really matter. also, i would stay away from using a roof. i know you want to communicate "houses", but it sends the wrong message. it makes it look like a roofing company. maybe just a simple type treatment would work?

maybe you could use a frontal view of the trowel tool they use in combination with an unfinished brick wall and the name?
i would suggest a pile of cement on it, but it could be misconstrued as dog doo...so don't go there...lol!
