First off, happy new year everyone... sorry i havent been around for a while started a new job in January and things have been a bit nuts recently.... also planning a wedding, and moving house!!!

anyway here is an album cover that i am working on for my friends band... its called 'recycle your pets' let me know what you think.

Just a quicky, Dis.

As the background info is quite thin, and I don't know a thing about the group I will keep it slim.

I love the concept of the bunny stomper it made me grin from ear to ear, some real strong illustration there, that is executed extremely well. I feel the inside and reverse compositions hold up a little better, than the front. (not taking away from the front either, just feel the others are stronger.)

I like the front loads, but feel the composition could be given a touch more tlc, I am not talking overhaul here, it is just the balance of focal points makes my eyes go a little mental kinda zig zags back and forth.

Looking at it again, I am not sure it is the composition of the illustrations or the amount going on, maybe it is the type that is centered.

Bloody hell what a useless ramble.

Quality job, I love it.

Just had another look, and I can't help but again say I love em, your friend should be over the moon.

I know I would be if you did something like that for me. A wonderful job. This has been thrown (well filed) into my big box of inspiration.

thanks for the input, still working on it at the moment any suggestions are more than welcome... the inside and back are done (pretty much) bit i am still tweaking the front, i find the logo a bit annoying but i didnt do it so i cant change it... showed it to my mate in the band last night and he loved it so might leave it pretty mush as is as i have a pile of stuff to do for the wedding.... aggggghhhhhh!!!!!

the group are, err... dark but laid back, kinda like pink floydd meets rage against the machine meets Ian Brown music of the spheres if you get what i mean they said they wanted something a bit moody and disturbing

i think it makes them look like they'd be a goth rock band... not that there is anything wrong with goth rock, but its not what they are, just confuses me a bit, especially when you hear 'em
