OK .. I can't figure this out, and I've not learned how to yet, so hope somebody can help me!!

I have a font in Illustrator that has a 'cut out' if you will ... and I want to fill it in with a color ... is that possible, and if so ... how?

Thanks,
Dee

What font? And what do you mean by cut out?

Do you want to do something like fill the middle of an O with a different color?

Do you know how to use the color palette, fill and stroke?

Have you tried converting the text to outline then going to object>path>compound path>release. Then ungroup.

Not quite sure what you want to do here.
