Did anybody see that documentary about Hitler's family? It turns out that he had one sister and a half brother and half sister. His half sister looked more like Adolph more than anybody. His full blooded sister died in the 1970s. His brother had a son who immigrated to the US around 1938 and had several kids here in the States. Hitler's great nephews were born and raised in New York and Hitler's nephews last name was Hitler. They have changed their names and give no interviews. Can you believe it!

I've heard about that before, to an extent. Boy, if he'd only gotten into art school in Vienna, the world would be a very different place! I've heard that some of his paintings still exist, and that his mother was cared for by a Jewish doctor whom Hitler held in high regard.

did you ever see the Twilight Zone episode where the woman goes back in time and kills Baby Hitler and then history still unfolds the same way?

Never saw that one. In most documentaries about Hitler's art, they show just a few pictures he created that show people as stick figures. However, I once saw a large collection of his art which was varied to say the least and I was surprised at how good of an artist he was.

Hannibal Lechter was an artist also. Its weird but most artists I know myself included are a little strange some more so than others. I always like the specials about some of the strange weaponry that was being developed, if the war had not turned in the allies favor when it did the nazis probobly would have developed a nuclear weapon, then where would we be?

Hitler became the leader or tyrant of a very powerful and resourceful country. The German people were very smart and invented things that rivaled the US or any other country at the time. All sort of folks were doing business in Germany at the time and the US captured many German scientist after the war. Germany's rise in power did not happen in a vacuum. But at the time how can anyone fortell the future.

Logo, isn't that why Einstein decided to help the US develop our Nuke? He was afraid we wouldn't be able to do it on our own. Those first nukes (as well as many others) were developed in Oak Ridge, TN about 10 miles from where I grew up. There's still a huge DOE complex that employs over 10,000 people around here. Funny that the "Manhattan Project" referred to Oak Ridge, TN.

Hell, the Germans were gearing up to mass produce the world's first jet airplane. Here at the Smithsonian Institute on display are a couple of Nazi jet fighters. And no doubt would have developed the big bomb.

Rockem, wasn't it Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, that was involved in the Union Banking Corporation scandal?

It gets worse, the Bushes are the cousins of the Windsor family--11 times removed. Must be something there.
