Hi guys! Ok...haven't posted up in a while so here are some things I've been working on for the past couple of weeks. Personally I'm pretty content with the outcomes, nonetheless I expect to get some negative feedback on the "style". But hey we can't all like everything right?! Thanks in advance for any feedback :)

If you're concerned about getting rough comments about using a "grunge" like style, you won't hear any from me because they are serving a purpose here. It's not heavy handed, anyway, which is a nice change of pace. I hate it when someone just posts some random picture with splotches here and there and says "CRITIQUE ME". I actually really like these pieces. Reminds me of a lot of the stuff I see on the portfolio sites showcased on Netdiver. That's a good thing ;)

Although the first one isn't my style, i absolutely love the second and third bits of work. id have bought that Valentines card, in fact it looks like an album sleeve.

I think these are A-f-ing Fine! Love the style, and just so you know, a good designer has no style, their style is the style of the client! Now personal stuff, that's different. It is good to be able to produce anything in any style, that shows how talented you really are. The Valentine I love, I make those for my husband and have even said the same words "I'm a better person because of you. . . . " type thing. I think you have a future in design.

Nevermind the site author's stubbornness to not use IM speak on some of her copy (I can't count how many times she says "LUV IT!!!"), there is some awesome stuff there. Browse through some of the showcased portfolios and you'll see what I mean. There are a few in there that are kinda "out-there", but there is a lot of good stuff as well.

I really dig the Valentine's Day card. Very sleek. Nice work on the Rapid Rewards program. You really established a recognizable campaign while keeping it hip (as the kids say nowadays). ;)

They look good to me. Maybe use some photographs with slightly less contrast on that first one, but it could just be the size and the fact that it's on the computer instead of printed that's getting me.
