This is kinda depressing/interesting. You enter your salary, then enter an item of your desire and how much it costs, then you choose a celebrity to see how long it will take you vs. said celebrity to get this item (along with the average wage of the rest of America).
For example, I put in my wage and went against Mr Rupert Murdoch. In one minute, this is how much each of us made:
ME: $.17
AVG AMERICAN: $.32
RUPERT MURDOCH: $146.46 (he makes over ten bucks in five seconds)
After four minutes:
ME: $.66
AVG AMERICAN: $1.28
RUPERT: $580
I chose to stop there, for I prefer to die from natural causes, rather than a premature heart attack.
That is truly depressing. I guess I'm just a short hair above "average" whatever the hell that means. Sure as hell doesn't take into account the cost of living or the number of hours I work in any given year. *sigh*
Damn you George W. Bush. (I compared myself to his salary, we don't need to start that conversation ... unless you want to. ;)

Geez! Dan Brown makes $645/min. That's over 80 Million per year. To write the same book over and over? I quit!

Dont' get me started on Dan Brown and his rather warped use of facts.
Rewards come to those what do it first, I suppose.
I think the President should make the average person's salary while in office. Might make him think...
Well... maybe not, in this case.

To make you really feel low, they need to add Bill Gates in that list.
But Warren Buffett is the 2nd richest in the US (and maybe world), so he is close enough.
Richest people in america by ranking (forbes.com 400 richest americans) (http://www.forbes.com/lists/2005/54/Rank_1.html)

What irks me, is what the hell does Paris Hilton do? What has she done? She is a perfect example that if you are born in the right place, at the right time, with the right family, and can fake being attractive (why people find her pretty is beyond me), while being a complete idiot, then you can be better off than those who put forth the effort. Who cares about hard work when you can go to the Oscars or whatever and get a gift bag that has a net worth of $60,000? Granted some of those individuals worked hard to earn their wealth, but she is one of those examples of someone who should be dirt poor and living under a cardboard box in 20 below weather.

Hm.. since I've been sitting here at work for the past hour and a half, Oprah has made 130k while I've made 20 bucks.
