I just quoted a $1500 freelance job to a potential client... He liked my samples so much that he added two mini brochures and approved moving the jobs up to a total of almost $4000... This is my biggest job yet in freelance and I couldn't be more excited!
Yay! And this isn't even counting the markup on printing I'm going to get him for...
One hell of a way to start the morning, that's for sure.
Fiancee is gonna love this... Gotta pay for that damned wedding somehow.

but what do you plan on getting him for on the mark up of printing? sounds like a good client, i mark up printing a little to sometimes, but watch yourself

Haha, he'll need to have packages of ready to go ramen, so he can eat and work. Or maybe have some pure caffine put into his blood via IV.

Depending on the job, it's 10-20%. This one will probably be 10% due to the size and amount of brochures.
I handle everything for the client when it comes to printers so a little off the top is only fair...

yah i know, its fair when you have to deal with the printers for the job,
just when you said and thats not even what i am gonna get him on printing, sounded like you were gonna rape him with charges :P
