Hello Guys,
Many thanks for allowing me to join this forum. I am a newbie to graphic design from a hobby perspective.
I currently use Autocad 2002, CorelDraw 11. I also have access to Photoshop 7, Dreamweaver MX, and 3DS MAX.
My recent uses of creating 3d cad drawings have placed me in an area where I would want to now convert my line drawings into more photorealistic 3d pictures. At present my drawings are very basic, such as skateparks, etc but I do want to go further and learn how to create images for my hobby falconry.
I am looking forward to getting to know some of you guys and hopefully building up some worthy relationships.

Welcome Stormrider! I had a client that was really into falconry. It's like this whole other world, and I know people that are *into it* are really passionate about it.

Cool another cad user.

Welcome.

I've been using Autocad since release 12 (1996ish) we'll have to chat one of these days about CAD. Im up to ACAD2006, and it still has issues :( BUT its a great precision tool.

Its nice to see someone else use who enjoys using cad. :)

Hi Stormrider, welcome to the forum. I don't know anything about CAD except I hate it when people design their business cards in it. :D

if they give you an autocad 2000 file, as long as its simple, it can transfer right into illustrator (cs2) with no problem. if it has splines, it causes problems.
