Here are some pics of Tofu in the garden of our new house. We're using a painting as a bunny barrier to keep him in the front garden. He has escaped the front of the garden a few times. But he usually just goes under the house and then around the back or into our neighbors hedge.

haha ya know i've tried that but smokey seems to know that i'm coming with the camera and wakes up and moves before i get a shot. he sleeps in this garden window all the time and he'll be sounds asleep as i walk by. i come back with my camera 30 seconds later and he's up and stretching... i think he knows the sound of me picking up my camera =]

I try to have my camera close by. Having a digital helps too because I end up deleting about 80% of the pics I take.

Over actor's boston terrier shot is one more great example of why dogs are better than cats... dramatically takes off sun glasses they're not anti-social so you don't have to sneak up on them to take their picture.

When I find time to clean and organize my studio *cough* I would like to setup a place I can ATTEMPT to photograph them under some natural lighting through the windows.....maybe I'll take a stab at that over the weekend.

We stayed with some people once that had this beautiful fluffy white cat. Because he also had a very pink nose we couldn't help but call this pink and white cat a she. His owners got a bit weird and defensive about it though. I can see how that is annoying after a while. My friends refer to Tofu as a she all the time. I guess Tofu is a very gender ambiguous name.

Tofu is very spoilt these days. He knows his routine too. I get up in the morning and open his door and he beats me to the front door and I let him have a run outside before we go to work. Most bunnies I know are confined to a cage but not this one. We did have to bunny proof the lounge though. The lounge is his room. We've almost totally bunny proofed our bedroom too but unfortunately we only have 1 power outlet in our room. It doesn't work so good when your bedroom also is your office! We have 2 internet cables that are within bunny reach. He so much as sniffed them...yet.

She had an absess (is that spelt right :S) and it got stiched up first but a few weeks after when it was re-opened it had grown bigger than her eye, so out it came lol.

I never met a cat that didn't mind the vaccuum. Our flatmates' cat used to FREAK when we vacuumed. Tofu (the bunny) just gets in the way though. It's like he thinks he's helping. My fiance once vacuumed Tofu's head when he was just a baby. It was funny but really mean.

Our Sharmi used to bite but I got real good at telling when she would. I guess it helped that she never licked so any lunge would be a good time to move out of the way!

Tofu licks like made and hardly ever bites. He's bitten me to try and move my hand before, but no nipples. Tofu once also bite my fiance in the ass. My fiance was sitting on the ground and had just given Tofu a raisin and then Tofu turned into a crazy raisin crackhead. For some reason, he bit my fiance's ass - maybe he thought there would be raisins in there.

Yeh, the mange causes the hair lose. It will grow back eventually. She gets shots every week atm. Poor puppy, I feel so bad for her. I'm very cross with the breeders... hrumph (it's genetic).

Let's see if I've got this posting pictures thing figured out...

Hopefully, this is a picture of Diesel Dude. He was found wandering around a truck stop as a kitten, pretty nasty looking. He was taken home and cleaned up by one of Artistdaughter's friends...who decided she couldn't have a cat around when she was pregnant. Daughter brought her home "until after the baby is born"...two years ago or so. Boxes and plastic bags are his favorite toys. He's an indoor cat; if he sneaks outside, he freezes as soon as his feet hit the grass. Strange...

My Summer. Turned out the first doctor was wrong and it was a boy. He was rescued by my ex-gf's co-worker Bruce. Bruce has 2 mean dogs that killed Summer's brother and sisters and scared the mother away. Bruce's wife picked up Summer and the other cat and the dog snatched the other cat out of the wife's hand and kill it just like that.

Summer was 1 week old when my ex gf gave him to me. I bottle fed Summer and now he's a healthy, mean, chunky 1 year old (almost in august).

OMG Buster loves the water... he will swim himself silly. Went for a hike in the Rockies the other day and we found this awesome mountain lake and he just swam all day. He was dead to the world for 48 hours after!

His mother is a big Chow and his papa is a shepherd.

He is just starting to get the markings of Papa... but the main color of momma. We can't tell if both ears are going to stand up yet .. but one is starting too :D

well he has really discovered his voice now. He is trying to "play" with the kitties every chance he gets and they aren't having any of it. They allow a sniff now and again ... but that's it.

It's been so long since I've been around an actual puppy it's a great experience. He just keeps us grinning ear to ear all day :)

yes fish tanks rock!!! have you thought about what your are gonna put in it? i'm going to be setting up a 45 gallon corner tank in the near future. i'm pricing out lights, a co2 setup, and plants to put in it. if are interested in doing a planted tank check out this place (http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/) most people are pretty cool and helpful. planted tanks are a lot of work but they are so beautiful when maintained correctly.

for the record I will probably be doing freshwater as I have not had a tank in many years and it should be easier for me to maintain while keeping teh fish alive (rather not dive into saltwater and end up killing fish).

plus, freshwater is a bit cheaper for starting out (so I think). And from what I read years ago easier to go from fresh to salt in the same tank (obviously different fish) than going the other way due to salt residue.

But I am reading up and going to fish shops to learn more before buying anything.

lol thanks :) and well spotted. She's in her rice box. Ferrets love to dig and "'snorkle" in things like water, sand, packing peanuts. Rice is the cleanest/easiest of the lot. They love it ;)
