A small color laser printer and postscript

I'm looking for a cheap small color laser printer. Does it have to be a postscript printer and what if it isn't? Will there be a problem in printing typefaces? I was looking at HP Laser Jet 2600n or Samsung CLP 510 but they are not postscript printers. Any other printer suggestions?

When I have to print to a nonPS printer, I make a PDF first and then I have no problems.
