I need to put this company logo on a Photoshop psd illustration and I can't get a hold of a better one than this 72 dpi is. What's the quickest way to get the edges sharp so I can use it in this 300 dpi picture so that it's big enough? Is there any way to transform it to a vector graphic or what?

Try emailing it to someone in India, that's what my company does when we get non-vector logos. Just email it and the next morning it shows up on my desk like a vector.
Sorry,
Depending on the complexity of it, you probably have three options: 1. ask the company to find a vector copy of the logo.
2. redraw it yourself in illustrator.
3. hire a designer to redraw it for you.

^ there are some threads on increasing image resolution in the 6th post on that thread... but essentially, DesignerScott is right.

People that send logos copied off of websites keep people like me in business. LOL. Honestly though you will have to get either a higher resolution in the current format which is probobly a jpg or gif or a vector version. Or like DesignerScott stated redraw it yourself or hire someone to do it. Most likely enlarging the current version will give less than desireable results.

I agree with the previous posts. In fact by the time you run through hoops trying to create/find a solution, you probably could've recreated the damn thing in Illustrator your self. Ofcourse, given you know how to use Illustrator.
When all else fails and if you're lucky, you might actually find the company at the following website.

Thanks, but what if I'm already in India, where do I email it? :)

I guess I'll draw it all over in Freehand.
Isn't there any software that can follow the outlines of some image and produce vectorgraphics other than human?
