I have a resume section up and running and an about me section and contact infomation.
My design is meant to be a little different. I am not very good at photoshop but as I improve my skills, I will make the graphics better.

getting better and better....
I dont like BG of spikes its an filter in photoshop....
filters are bad if people can spot them easily

ok, well i will get rid of the filter. I have though about redesigning my whole layout in photoshop. Do you think this is a good idea? my previous layout was made entirely in flash. I have only started using photoshop again after a few months w/o it.
I am also working on a website for a friend, its going to be unpaid, but it is my first real job for someone. i will meet whith him on sunday and he will give me some ideas of what he wants. He is a singer/songwrighter i will tell you the address once i finnish his site (i was thinking about making his entire layout in photoshop). I see some real potential in photoshop and flash combination, i just want to learn better. How much photoshop do you use in your websites?

and it looks like it was done in flash to (however for someone your age its great - just looks inexperienced - not that my site is to keen)
all layout/ graphic are done in photoshop with some help in illustrator when needed
my personal opinion is flash is an animation tool its not made to manipulate graphics

bp, you're site is nice -- clean and simple. very good qualities on a site.
most designers use photoshop only. illustrator is used a bit when dealing with lines or vector needs like logos, but they are eventually brought into photoshop anyway.
like bp said, flash is for animation not graphics manipulation. if you need to work on any graphics you want to use in a flash animation, do it in photoshop or fireworks. and save it as it's needed, don't resize or manipulate them in flash.
and what's the deal with the pop-ups? i couldn't even look at your site long enough b/c i was bombarded by them. get some hosting, quick.
ok, thanks for that advice. I will get some hosting once i get paid next friday. i dont see the poppups since i have a popup blocker. i am getting high speed internet (cable) starting on monday. it will make it a lot easier to update my website since i will be able to set up a wireless home network to get the internet on my laptop. i am working on redesigning my website but i am going to spend a lot more time on it that the previous version. i will talk to you again when i redesign the website. i am also making a website for a friend and i got an online journal page i made to release on my birthday (july 1st). my portfolio is goin to have some work in it soon ;)
