favorite pancake recipes anyone?

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded tart apple
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon white sugar

1. In a large bowl, combine butter, egg, milk and apple. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and sugar. Stir flour mixture into apple mixture, just until combined.

2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

They are a nice, thick pancake that seems like it was baked rather than fried.
I had mine with butter and cinnamon sugar, and Neuro preferred maple syrup.

Oh and use real butter please, not the fake butter.

Look up "German pancakes". They bake there pancakes, instead of frying them.

All I remember is to mix the batter, put it in the largest cake pan. not sure on temp or duration in the oven. But they turn out really good.

yep that helps... it was moved over a bit so some of the white was in the crop but I get it now... I liked it better when I thought it was a dinosaur
