Hey has anyone been watching The Apprentice,

I thought it would be fun to do a similar sort of thing here. We could have a small panel of judges (a vote on who they should be perhaps) and set a series of tasks where a certain number of designers get put through to the next round. After the first round there would be a set amount of designers left. The panel could set a task each week and the remaining designers battle it out with one being "fired" after every task until we have a winner!!! Sounds like fun?

No time to lose...no time at all...doing a 9-6, then I get home to try and ramp up the freelance biz

yeah as with everyone else, not spare time, but that is a fantastic idea, i would venture to say we'd see better efforts put forth by some on here than a few of the people on the show last season!

I dont have time to do it just for kicks, and if we offer some kind of prize or compensation it turns into a contest, and we dont do contests around here.

By tasks I mean and simple brief by the panel such as a logo design! All made up of course. Pity no one's got much time tho . . . ahh well just a thought!

It's a good thought, but like you said - pitty no one has the time.

I think many of us are just really busy trying to launch freelance stuff, or on the job busy, ya know ;)
