I have a client who wants me to use their font. They sent me .ttf files of the font. Where do I put them in order for me to use them with Photoshop CS?

Hello, and welcome to the GDF. Do u have a type or font program like ATM? Are you on a Mac or PC?

thank you! I don't think I have a program like that. I am on a Mac.
In the past when I have purchased fonts, I have just tucked them inside a folder, but that's only when I was working with AI.

.ttf fonts may be PC fonts.
Since you are using OSX (which version?) you can try putting them here:
Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fonts
Might work.
Um, found that in the application Help index btw.

ttf stands for TrueType Font. It is what PC uses. I'm not sure if they work on Mac, I think that the newest version can use them, but I'm not positive.
