Hi Brui, Welcome to the forum. I don't know exactly what you are asking here. It looks to me like you have done it. /emoticons/cool.gif

Welcome to the board Brui. You got 2 blues on there....just kill the light blue and make one end white and the other end the dark blue...the gradient will give you that middle blue. A little confused here too but is that what you are asking? LOL

welcome Brui
are you having a problem putting a spot color into the gradient, as opposed to a process color? i'm not sure what you're asking either.

Hi! thank's for the reply'shttp://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
What im trying to do is put different shades of a spot color in to the gradient palette ( no result's so far by dragging the color into the gradient window) and in order to get the different shades/tones of that spot color im using transparency. Im using illustrator cs and the logo is gonna get printed on a digital press.

try using the color pallet to adjust the tone instead of transparency, that should work with your gradient

right, you can still use the color palette to adjust the percentages of spot colors. maybe i'm misunderstanding your problem. i thought you wanted a gradient that went from 1 spot color to white or something. at certain points of the gradient you want specific percentages of that spot color.
