Anyone else struggle as much as I do to find the right stock photos for the themes you're looking for? I'm trying to find photography that speaks to ideas like "getting everyone on the same page" or "changing the status quo", but can't find much that makes sense.

If anyone has ideas on how to better use stock photo search engines, I'm all ears.

hmm, it is usually all about key words. if you can simplify what you are looking for, you can usually get better results.

Granted, these topics don't really lend themselves to simplification. "Getting everyone on the same page" makes me think "unity" or "teamwork", if that helps at all.

At least you don't have the assignment TheBlackKnight did - trying to find a photo of "someone thinking about diabetes".

We did find some photos of people thinking about cancer, a couple of photos of people thinking about car insurance, and one of a guy thinking about Girl Scout cookies. He must have really liked Girl Scout cookies...

weinerdog, I'm surprised that using those keywords at a stock photo site doesn't come up with any good results. I would have thought that the major sites had figured out by now that sales and marketing suit types were always looking for that kind of corporate BS (what is it with sales and marketing types? Do the ties keep blood from getting to the brain, or what?). Hmmm, maybe I'll start my own stock photo company, and call it "Business BS Stock Photo." I think I smell money...

I looked for teamwork, unity, training, meeting, conference, etc. I find a lot of empty board rooms & some pictures of hands joining together (which isn't bad, but they're all caucassian...). Maybe it's the sites I'm searching, they're all the $1 per download sites like Dreamstime, iStockphoto, bigstockphoto. I'd search Corbis, and other more well-known sites, but don't think my company's going to spend $500 in stock photography, even for their brochure.
