yeah! hard to work from home when you have no home!!! oh well. i get to play the 'unwashed artist-type' for awhile. also, i got to move a friend into HIS place on sunday, too. it's good though, 'cause i piggybacked my stuff into his truck...hehe...
then NEXT month, my bf's brother moves the same weekend we do, AND i've got two gigs. friday - gig. sat - gig, sun - move bro, mon - move us. oh dear god.

Welllllll...... the place is HUGE!! lol.. There are a few odd and end things that needed to be fixed. Like the Walljack for the phone, it was painted over so many times i couldnt even plug my phone in to make sure our service worked. So finally yesterday it was fixed. The floor (from the livingroom to dining room) creaks a lot so if we get bitchy neighbors downstairs then thats gonna be an issue.. but all in all its a great place. :)
We are having a little bug issue but its getting taken care of asap. Were bating the place and filling in any holes/cracks with expandable foam. I cant wait till thats taken care of. Im assuming the ppl before us or downstairs were dirty. and the bugs arent used to anyone living there for awhile. SO ugh. nasty!!
But I cant wait till its all in place..
I am a lil worried about my one cat, bitz. He isnt being bad.. LOL.. i kinda miss it. But im so used to him getting into crap. My boss thinks he's just still exploring everything so he'll be back to normal soon enuf..
Im pretty busy today so wont be posting a lot a lot.. but ill be back soon ;D

Ahh don't worry about your cat Debz...they take a little time to have a look around and find their lil spots they like to hide in and stuff. Spanky did the same when I moved 2 months ago. He's as normal (if you can call it that) as ever now!
Glad the new place is working out good for you. Yeah I hate when the people before you are nasty and invite the bugs..UGH! Apparently that was the case at my new house before I bought it. The house I bought was actually built by Habitat in 1994. So they give this house to these ppl to help them right?! Well, the way that works is that 10 years after you have lived in that house, Habitat apparently hands the deed over to whooever is in the house. Once the people in my house got the deed handed to them, they took a loan out AGAINST it and lost the house...LOSERS. The house was in HORRIBLE condition...just aweful. bugs - roach infestation...just EWE! My realtor bought it as an investment home, she gutted it and completely renovated it. Had it bonded of course for the infestation so that was taken care of. Now my house is practically brand new. COMPLETELY NEW on the inside. No bigs - YAYAY!! But the people I hear just didn't take care of it AT ALL! The yard was a mess!! Hell, its STILL a mess but I'm gettin there.
Anyways...once you make it your home it will feel great. I would imagine its nice for you to have all that new space too! The cats will love that once they get done searching around for hiding places! Good luck to you Debz!

it is AMAZING how much i had cramped into 414sq ft. I now have 756sq ft. and each room is filled with boxes.. lol. It still amazes me everyday!!
