HI, I would like a solid php system like this site:
http://www.lomography.com
I have no idea what they are using but love it. Does anyone know of systems like this that can be a good framework for a community type of site? Something a little more less 'forum software' looking.. thanks!

you're gonna have a hard time finding something like that for free ... looks like a custom community. your best bet would be to hire a web developer to do it for you. i know plenty of people that could do it for you. just let me know if you're interested.

Try www.stellent.com (http://www.stellent.com) or www.interwoven.com (http://www.interwoven.com)
Both of these companies provide solutions for content management sites.
