The question just came up at work about sending a formal letter (printed on real paper made from trees) to two people - the question is, what is the proper way to indicate that the letter has been sent to the other person, so that both people reading the letter are aware that the other has received it as well?

the way I have seen this done, at the very end of the letter after the signature the sender includes a line that says:
cc: (Other Recipient's Name)

That's what we thought, but it didn't seem right to us. Hearing it from someone else helps alot. Thanks Morea!

you're welcome baby eater. If anyone else does this differently, I'd be interested in other methods, too.

That's how we did it in the old days. On a typewriter. With carbon paper to make the duplicate letter. Ergo: cc "carbon copy". And I had to haul that typewriter through knee deep snow 5 miles uphill both ways....

No way man,
if you put a drink on a floppy, the condensation will ruin it's delicate storage-abilityness.
I loooooove floppy's

Yeah, but its not the size of the floppy, its how you utilize it's storage space.

LOL! One of my first jobs (PGD - pre graphic design) was as a computer operator for a Wang computer. I loved telling people what I did - Wang operator.

I had a Wang computer, huge piece of equiptment. I use to tell all my friends" you should come over and see my huge Wang, it's really great. Fast too".
