I just switched computers and reinstalled CS. For some reason, when I save images a jpgs in photoshop, I have problems using them on the web. They work as gifs, etc. But whenever those jpg files are referenced on a website, all I get is the fatal red X as if the image is unavailable.

Any thoughts?

Check if they are CMYK. They should be RGB for web. Photoshop default is CMYK. Sometimes they won't show if there is an embedded ICC profile too. And that's the scope of my web image experience. LOL!

What are your settings when you export the jpgs?

Bleh! CMYK vs RGB. I'm a moron.

These are the stupid reasons I hate switching computers. Sure it's 12340987x as fast. But frankly, I'm a creature of habit and I like being able to set things up and then ignore them.

Well for not, at least, I figured it out and changed it on this machine.

Thanks again for your help, GDFers. I'm sure I'll ask again next time I upgrade. :)
