can I go home now?

twogun
04-13-2006, 01:11 PM
in that case.......mmmmmmmmmm

"there was a young girl form Kilkerry" no that wont work......mmmmmmm
"what do you call a man with no arms?".........."dirty bum", too crude.....mmmmmmm
i know, a song!.......

The indians send signals
From the rocks above the pass
The cowboys take positions
In the bushes and the grass
The squaw is with the corporal
She is tied against the tree
She doesn’t mind the language
It’s the beating she don’t need
She lets loose all the horses
When the corporal is asleep
And he wakes to find the fire’s dead
And arrows in his hats
And davy crockett rides around
And says it’s cool for cats
The sweeney’s doing ninety
’cos they’ve got the word to go
They get a gang of villains
In a shed up at heathrow
They’re counting out the fivers
When the handcuffs lock again
In and out of wandsworth
With the numbers on their names
It’s funny how their missus’
Always look the bleeding same
And meanwhile at the station
There’s a couple of likely lads
Who swear like how’s your father
And they’re very cool for cats
They’re cool for cats

To change the mood a little
I’ve been posing down the pub
On seeing my reflection
I’m looking slightly rough
I fancy this, I fancy that
I wanna be so flash
I give a little muscle
And I spend a little cash
But all I get is bitter and a nasty little rash
And by the time I’m sober
I’ve forgotten what I’ve had
And ev’rybody tells me that it’s cool to be a cat
Cool for cats

Shake up at the disco
And I think I’ve got a pull
I ask her lots of questions
And she hangs on to the wall
I kiss her for the first time
And then I take her home
I’m invited in for coffee
And I give the dog a bone
She likes to go to discos
But she’s never on her own
I said I’ll see you later
And I give her some old chat
But it’s not like that on the tv
When it’s cool for cats
It’s cool for cats.......
Surely that's done it!!!!

for the price its quite good, if they load it up with cream you dont really taste the bitterness of expresso, but with milk you still get that extra kick which I like. I'm going to ask for 2 shots next time.

Hey roobs be glad your not working at the big T anymore, you've less contact with the publicDefinitely, I've had the most health-deficient people come up within my private space and hack up a lung when I worked there. Ugh, go quarintine yourselves.

You know what's hilarious, is that I went shopping there yesterday, and was talking to a buddy who got promoted to the position that I left from, and as I was talking he had to go help someone quick, and then a woman came up to ME and asked me if "we" had something in stock at the store that was on sale; I must have been so popular there that people friggin' remember me.

What's even funnier is when she got kind of mad when I told her "I don't know, I haven't worked here for four months."

MA is massachusetts, New England...I suppose our climate is much like yours, and most of our people here are originally from Great Britan, I just like England and Ireland. I think the people are quite warm, love the accent...especially an blond irish dame with a thick accent...hot!

I'm also interested in history, my family came from there back in the 1600s I want to follow the family tree back there.

twogun

Drorain
04-13-2006, 01:46 PM
the last name on that side of the family is Ball...John Ball, came over on the Arbella with John (Winthrop)? I think... to help establish the mass bay colony which is now Boston. The family came from a city beginning with W, Wellington, or something its been about 10 years since I did the family report. I need to go back and look for it.

my grandmother actually found a book with a recorded history of it all in a local library, she even took images of headstones and sent me all of the photocopies...I was in the 8th grade so I really forget how long. But once the right resource was located it was cake to do it.

OK, so everyone from the weatherman to all the citizens were predicting impending doom, and what happens? Pfft, a little rain and thunder.

Actually, there has been one death, several homes destroyed, some golf-ball to baseball sized hail. But as soon as it got to us, it fizzled out into a bunch of nothing. Good thing though.

You may be tempted to stand a little ways from it and throw stuff in there, just to watch it get destroyed by intense gravitational tidal forces. You must resist this temptation.
