cause I can't get my cats to dance with me (http://www.monpa.com/dwc/world.html).
I tried to get them to sing with me the other day... a whole bunch of em were sitting on the bed frame that is standing in the corner of our office (don't ask) just STARING at me.
I started singing to them "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" and conducting for them, but they just put their ears back and glared at me instead of joining in.
So I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they didn't take to dancing (http://www.monpa.com/dwc/index.html) either.
Bunch of uncultured cats. Do you guys have these problems with your pets?
well i don't have a real pet, but a family of Kookaburras that lives near my house are pretty close to pets. I have seen 3 generations of them. They don't dance but they growl at me when they want food. It is also amusing to watch them hop along deck the find the next piece of bacon rind.

Cool! I've heard a song about them. It goes:
"Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Merry, merry king of the bush is he
Laugh, Kookaburra! Laugh, Kookaburra!
Gay your life must be
Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Eating all the gum drops he can see
Stop, Kookaburra! Stop, Kookaburra!
Leave some there for me!"
My cats wouldn't sing that one either. :(
can't say i've ever heard that one, but i never ask them to laugh, especailly at 5:30 in the morning.

I like to take my pug's two front paws, lift him up and dance for 15 seconds. He looks like a little human when he dances along with me! Mo, did you see that SNL short, "Laser Cats"?

I had a terrier who would dance for treats. Usally I can get the cats if I have food. But I did have a cat who liked to headbang. Serious. He was a huge Metallica fan but he also liked the song 'kitty' by The Presidents Of The United States Of America. He was cool. Maybe if you try some differant types of music the kitties will cooperate?

My cat plays fetch... actually what she does is this:
If you give her her ball, she goes and dumps it in her water dish, then brings it back to you. If you're sleeping, she puts it right on your face too.

I do that with my Chihuahuas, its funny! But then they get mad and bite my hand.

My kitty plays fetch. Actually, they both do. The big one is a crumpled paper fan and the kitten is a freak for those balls that look like cages with bells inside. She goes crazy.

I don't know about dancing, but doing wheel barrow race with a large dog is a good way to determine its temperament.

yes, I DID see that, lol!
I found out that my cats will stand up and hop around on their back feet if I dangle spaghetti over them. Yay! :D

my dog and my husbands dog "tap dance" when treats are around....
And my 21 lb cat? Well, he dances with me whether he likes i or not!! He's too fat to get away so he just deals with it. :)
