CMYK Bars?

Okay, we just printed up a clear decal. It was a simple Black logo on clear vinyl adhesive. I turned on information marks. I'm running onyx 6.5 on a pc to a Mutoh Outdoor Falcon II. For the first time, I got this running bar on both sides of the graphic outside of it, of CMYK, all the way down as it printed. I understand why I would need this, but how did it just happen? I didn't turn on or off anything that isn't normally changed.

I know I seem to always be having problems, but I learned Design before I got this job, and as much as I'm learning I still run into weird problems.

that's a new one - what type of file ie - pdf, eps, tiff. I looked on my onyx and don't see an option for color bar

that's the thing I didn't turn on or off an option. it's just odd, that's all.

are you printing out of illustrator?

nope. I never do that, I always go thru onyx.

Well there's the old standby that seems to work half the time. Restart. :D
