The one thing to remember about black holes: stay away from the event horizon, and everything will be fine. You may be tempted to stand a little ways from it and throw stuff in there, just to watch it get destroyed by intense gravitational tidal forces. You must resist this temptation.
I once named all our barn cats after cheeses.
I don't know about dancing, but doing wheel barrow race with a large dog is a good way to determine its temperament.
For $50 I purchased Radiant CT Medium, at Castle Fonts. I just tried it out. It's BETTER than chocolate ice cream and in the running with sex.
That's what she said... oh wait that is what she said!
Ecsyle... the ladies love your mushroom!
No, no, no. The giraffe came through the window. The mimes came through the gate.
I hope someone comes to get the giraffe soon. It's eating all of the chips.
I dunno how I get jobs, but somehow I do. It has to be the bribery.
oh this isn't the location we're posting imprints of our ass?
Take a lesson from the "Book of balou" - this is the rule book that mysteriously appeared to me when hubby & I got married of which only I can see. The best way to get a man to do what you want is to make it his idea to do it with a little subtle suggestionry and verbal workarounds.
If I can't do it with Photoshop CSI, I can always pull the magic wand out of my ass and have it done right quick.

Lets start with one of the 999 BuckarooB posts.
You guys are missing a time proven modality used by artists from ancient times to the far distant future - at least down here in SA.
First, you meet with your fellow artist friends at a really great club.
Second, you start the Margaritas flowing.
Third, you get everyone there, including the people at the next table to start brainstorming...
Forth, write down every single idea and name and funny story that everyone comes up with. Do not edit, poo-poo, or eliminate any concepts during this brainstorming session.
Fifth, you order more Margaritas and keep it up until everyone of you is finally thrown out into the street clutching what very well may be the most valuable shreds of paper you have ever held in your trembling hands...
Sixth, find someone to read to you from those shreds sometime the next afternoon. Take notes as they read and take special note of the ideas that don't totally embarrass you.
Finally, simply name your new firm - Margarita's Graphic Design - and you're all done!
It's just that simple! And it's fun too!

Once upon a time our GDF founder Allen H caught someone hot linking images from the GDF. He asked them nicely to stop stealing our bandwidth.. They posted some smart ass reply, not understanding that you DO NOT WANT TO PISS ALLEN OFF. lol
i do not owe anyone an apology, if you wanted to use the image you should have copied it to your server rather than use our bandwidth. You never even asked, so screw you and your apology.
PS: You is now banned
PPS: Just to show there is no hard feelings i just banned your whole net block, so i doubt you will ever see any of our sites in future much less this forum, and it is blocked at the router you lame asswipe. the entire 62.90.*.* block is what i am referring to, friggin leech. I don't give a rat's ass if you ever see anything on our network again.
Anyone else want to complain about us preserving our bandwidth and stopping sites from using our copyright content?
Sheesh
lol... its turned into a "Mac vs. PC/ One comp vs. more comps/ show me your tah tah's/ my penis is bigger than your penis" thrashing forum....
now, you know, we can all stop this and calm down once every one agrees..........
.....that all macs (even the old 16mhz ones) are better than pcs, having more comps is always better than having one, that all the girls are going to post thier tah tah's, and that my penis IS bigger than yours.......

Sweet. I like the classics. I didn't make it again, though. I think that's a month of not being up there. I'm not funny anymore. :(
In any case, I don't think I'm going to make it past 2 o'clock today. Somehow I have to make it through my tennis lesson I have at 5, which I WAS looking forward to, but our local garbage corp. decided to use the garbage truck that hasn't had brake maintenance since 1960, which promptly woke me up about four hours ago.

Red heads are cool. I dyed my hair (naturally brownish/blondish highlights but more like a reddish brown) ANYWAYS I dyed it red so many times it now thinks it's red. I can't dye it back to brown cause it turns orange so 3 years ago I stopped dying it and it comes in reddish brown. RED HAIR ROCKS!

Ah, that explains alot. I just said that Ilove your avatar and I used to watch it in the olden days when you couldn't find it anywhere. (Unlike now when you can get the japanese/english subtitled version of Akira at pancaking WALMART for cripes sake) but, I digress, I was a Vampire Hunter D, Tank Police (for the humor) and Akira fan. Oh, I like watching the cartoons sometimes jus to see the way the characters are drawn! I love the girls (evanthough they are always 1/2 dressed) they are much more interesting than the guys who are usally just alike. I used to draw anime characters. My favorites were Anipuma and Unipuma from the Tank Pollice. They were so good at being bad...THEY are my heroes!

I used to love anime, in my Japanophile days of the 90's (I'm also 25 btw). These days, I just don't have the time to devote to it. And also the fact that I'm married and my wife would not be happy if I spent all my time watching cartoons. :P
I was always a fan of comedys and dramas like Ranma and Maison Ikkoku. Never was into the ones that involved mechs or fighting.

oh yess anything by studio Ghibli is amazing and the most unique anime you'll come by.
Azumanga Daiho is a fun little gem that really relates to everyday highschool life for a group of girls. Fruit's Basket was another huge hit, similar to Ranma in that the people change to members of the Zodiac animals. Kinda fun, this is where my avatar comes from. If you like more giant robot stuff, well evangelion is interesting, but I'm over that. I thought Full Metal Panic Fummofu was hilarious.
I'm one of those rare people that really despises Akira...oh well
Also I'm currently halfway through the Trigun DVD set. I have Blockbuster mail service, so I'm watching TONS of anime

yeah, I was young. And apparently I was chasing it all around Central Park in BC. So it turned around and bit me. It was pretty much as tall as I was, cause it got me right on the nose.

LOL! Got what ya asked for then I guess. Last time I encountered them all I was doing was watching the ground and trying to avoid the millions of Goose Plops on the trail and one bit my arm. And they hiss!
mac.FINN
04-21-2006, 08:24 PM
Oh I know they do.
There was one (recently) kinda trapped in the nook of a glass building, hissing at his 3 reflections and attacking, not only the glass, bt himself too. So I tried to shoo him out...I got him out, he chased me away from the building.
Damn Birds... I'm a wuss. :D

Okay, it's official. I'm now on vacation! Tomorrow, I'll be in Savannah, Georgia!
But for me, not being at work is close enough to being on vacation.
Happy weekend (and next week) all! After this afternoon, I don't plan on touching a computer for over a week!

Had to duck out for a little while. It got mad busy. And I got my first printer complaint ever! I feel so special! I think the guy is expecting his gift cards to come out of those $100,000 imagesetter deals. I will admit, our printers are shit, but he signed an approval form with the lousiest print put on it and every one printed (I checked them ALL) far better than that. Serves him right for sending me a jpeg for art.

I got the Khukri for $25 and the dagger for $5, I got them at a Highland games event in Portland. Btw highland games are the best place to get swords/daggers. (collection only) the costs are really low.
I saw people walking out with very decorative longswords strapped to there backs. Was cool, but try getting on the bus with one.

Ahhh...the classics! Boy does that make me miss Allen. He had a hell of a presence on this forum. He pulled no punches when it came to people stepping out of line and being turds about it. Hope to see him back here some day. I know the guys is busy, busy, busy!
M - we need to get those things hung up. Those pics came out good.
I was never really into swords until I saw Morea's collection. Very impressive. Also makes me realize I can NEVER piss this girl off. I know better. :P

I want to go home. I want to go home. 10 more minutes. Tonight a group of people in my department are going out to eat. It should be fun. I hope everyone doesnt get incredibly drunk, because that will make me a sad panda, especially since I don't drink.

Morea I like your swords. Mine are all HUGE. My claymore is the biggest at about 4 ft. Most (the average I guess) is about 3 ft. I also have a big hunting knife. Forgot that one friday. I like blades. What can I say? The bigger the better.

lol! My two claymores are huge, I can't imagine the upper body strength it would take for someone to wield one effectively. The katana is the smallest of the lot, but it's also very light and very quick.
