I've set up a friends studio lights that are slaves to my flash on my camera and when i take a picture the images are way underexposed. Turning off the studio lights and using just the flash on the camera pretty much solves the problem of the underexposure but still the lights when they are on make everything dark.

anyone anyone?

could it be a flash sync issue? something?

ehh, I found out the problem. My external flash was set to auto and was firing a pre-flash, that was triggering the studios prematurely so no light when the shutter was actually open.

no one likes to fire off prematurely, glad you have got it sorted.

talking of flash, two old ladies walking home late at night, a flasher jumps from the bushes, one old lady has a stroke.......................wait for it.................but the other couldnt reach!!!!
