Hello Graphic design forum.
I just posted a new site, with work for AIGA, Epic records and Random House from Brooklyn, NY.
Is it a beautiful belly flop, or a real piece?
I'd love to hear from you all!

You want the truth, or an emulation?
By the way-- I love the phrase, "Beautiful Belly Flops". You should seriously consider making that your domain name.

Under "about", and "Currently"...shouldn't it be "psyched?"
Anyways, spelling aside, I liked it for the most part, except under your client work page, the scrollbar/list doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the site. Same w/ the Links page and Personal work. The navigation on top should probably remain visible at all times; there were times when I tried to rollover and it wouldn't appear. And I saw a URL on one of your works, but it wasn't clickable; I think it should be.
OK, now for the good:
Your work is excellent! Nice job.
Like the initial visual metaphor as well.
I really like what you did with the contact page. Nice touch.
All in all, this could be a really solid site, I would just consider making a few tweaks like what I listed above.

Thanks for the feedback and taking your time through the work.
R1, your advice is really appreciated. The Navigation thoughts are right on...although hidding it makes room for other things, it does add another tech function that can add confusion...but as for Siked, it goes either way. I found that the slang Siked is spelled that way, but my (bright) girl friend insisted it looked like an error. Next time I'll listen to her.
Again, thanks for visiting, and for your time.\
Cheers!

I'm guessing you need to upgrade to flash 8!
impressive portfolio, well put together site.
Beautiful site, love it,
only problem is it suffers from overFLASHification, that is the tendency of flash sites to have horrible navigation.
If you are looking to draw designers looking for cool ideas, it will work, but many clients will not want to get lost in the maze of your sites UNnavigation.

Anyways, spelling aside,
Grammar police. *whistle* If you're going to criticize, I must point out that it's "anyway" not "anyways" - carry on, nothing to see here people.
P.S. I heart you reubs. :)

Yeah there are a bunch of spelling errors.. some proofreading might help. 'clientel' 'guerilla' 'distrobuted' etc. etc. I agree with the others who commented on the navigation - it's not really clear and it's sometimes hard to get the top menu to come back. The wonder brand isn't public domain, but lots of people use it anyway I guess. It made me think "whitebread," I don't know if that's a negative or positive. The about page is a bit or an afterthought and all the text is itty bitty. It's a pretty arty site that's really fashionable. looks like you've done a lot of really slick productions in the past. Good going.

It's an unhealthy habit I picked up from Eastern Iowa that I try to limit. Everybody around here ends every word with an S. "Yous guys" kinda thing.
