Is it a wallpaper, as in a desktop download, or as in the background for the website. If it's the background... it's really too busy. You'll have to have something on top of it where there's text or images.
Really cool design though.

I like the design, like the charachter as well...good job on texturing her. I'm not particularly thrilled about the facial pic, it looks slightly blurred, but maybe you wanted that effect. It just looks like an out of focus shot. I think it would look better sharper or faded. I know it's anime style art and usually with anime things are over exaggerated, but she's got some serious long legs :) The left ankle bone looks a little high, though it could be the angle.
Nicely done!

LOL, thanks for the compliment. But, in case you don't know, I didn't actually draw her. She's a character from an anime series.
I wish she were real.... so I can..... ....
Maybe if you got rid of that hideous effect in the background and made the figure on the right hand side your dominate featrure I could call this design… maybe.
So what I would suggest is making the background a solid color (to strat off with)- preferable black and having the face on the right in a lowerc ontrast then the figure on the right. That way when people actually do use this as an desktop- assuming that thier programs are located on the left that face doesn't begin to fight with thier desktop icons.
On the other hand, if this is for a site then I would make the face in a even lower amount of cntrast since, text would need to be placed there. Generally when you use images behind text it makes the copy some what difficult to read and unless that is something you want it is more so a deturrent then nt that can easily be avoided.
Thats just a suggestion.
However, putting aside the subject matter(how much I hate anime) this is one of the better "wallpapers" I have seen posted… if thers is any comfort in knowing.
