does anyone know if / where the function is in InDesign to extract embedded links?

Select graphic, go to "File" and then select "export".

sweet, i'll check it out Monday, Monday
when I return to work.
I figured there's no way super fancy program, InDesign
would not have a way of doing so, was just a matter of where!
