hey everyone!
I'm working on a new bus. card for my self. I would love to hear your thoughts, and what i can do to make it better.
(if your wondering why the circle, triangle and rectangle/square I look at those as the building blocks of design)
thanks

Nothing really jumps out at me and with business cards, I tend to think a strong image is important so you are remembered. I don't think the designs are bad. They just lack the umph. I like the white symbol with the color around it better because it stands out more. Simple is good but I think for a "creative" business card is needs a bit more.
Also I am not a fan of black cards because of how much ink it tends to take to cover the entire card. That's just the prepress side of me cringing. LOL!

thats all the info? just the website?
the graphic looks like a golf ball on a tee.
the problem with minimal based business cards is that whatever subject matter you choose to focus on will carry all the weight of your viewers short attention span. its the only thing you are giving them to remember. therefore, its even more imporant than ever. are you sure you want to be remembered by basic geometric shapes? im not convinced thats the best approach to achieve your intended result.
and again, its only human nature to want to construct an image out of those given forms. i see a golf ball on a tee. others may see something else. my point being, you dont have ultimate control over what your viewer will take away from this card. i think there is a better approach out there waiting to be discovered.

I left the computer for a few hours, and now I'm looking back at these cards I don't like them at ALL! for some reason my first few designs seem to be soooooooo bad...but at the time i think they'er soooo great! I'll be trying a diffrent approach
thanks again!

I like them, the first one the best. But this is a great concept for the back of the card. On the other side you should use all white with the text in black and the symbol in color.
Great concepts!
