rainbow angel still fits the event title better. although teen angel could be used for a second room playing drum n bass ;)

I like the second one a lot, but I think I like the first one more!

do u think the first is like because its a contradiction of terms e.g (good girl being bad) that is winning u over or the design is better than the second

being a dj myself, i have to say that the first one does a better job of containing the essance of the techno club scene. the second just doesnt do anything for me. it doesnt have any of the necessary energy or attitude to effectively communicate to your target audience.

i agree that the first seems to work better in the context you are going to be using it in ... but i just dig that second image so much ;) :D

actually, now i've gone away and come back.. (and listened to a lot of uplifting house thanks to DI.fm) and looked at the images again... i now think the second fits better... clean, fresh and more 'treble-y' house 'spirit' than the first wich is more dirty, dark, 'bass-y' and more like some DnB or something... (like emmerse said) :D

Let me get this straight first of all, I like them.

But...

...why use models/sexually orientated images all the time for the flyers? I too am guilty of this quite a few years ago for a few 'sparrige' do's. I was forced to work with their images of provocative models. The possibilities are endless with this kinda work but they didn't want to know.

The pay was poor and I was just their mac monkey, so hence to say, I never did it again.

Basically, why not try and stand out from the crowd, as you don't have the corporate shackles to adhere to, or are you in the same situ as I was a then?

i agree the sex orientated images for flyers r over done. and abused, but like most clients they r afraid of straying from the norm, i done one design for them with a man on it this did go down well and was reiceved with malice... so u have to know your cliental and supply what they require or someone else will... i will post up some of my non-sexually orientated designs at a later date...

I know exactly what you are saying, good luck with it. As said I like the designs, especially the attitude generated from No1, do you reckon some sexy vectors could wean them off sexy ladies?
