Hi there just want an oppinion on which one of these two logos should be used. It is for a band and you can go to www.myspace.com/listentolearnltl (http://www.myspace.com/listentolearnltl) if you would like to listen to their music so you get a feel for the band. Thanks:D

yup first one for me too - however looking at it alone it looks like maybe a cd you could buy that would teach you to play.

of the two, definately the first, although for me it says driving school, it must be the "L's".

I agree, the first is better. However, Neither one is really outstanding. Admittedly I didn't listen to the music, but it says Rock/Alternative, these logos don't seem to fit that genre.
What exactly does the name "Listen to Learn" mean? When I look at it (especially with the headphones on the logo) I think "ok listen to learn... it's one of those teaching tapes you listen to to learn spanish or something."

i know it doesn't really look like it but...that's what i thought of.
the head phones help so #1 is my choice but only because i have no others.

Hmm, i think i'll agree with everyone else in the thread, the 1st one does put over an identity, but perhaps you need to spice it up a little with some fuzz edges, or distorted. That would make it more hard stuffs. Also, you could keep the letters straight, but the boxes behind them tilted? That wouldn't make it so childish i guess.
However i think the 2nd one is nice and simple...

I like the feel to the logo, as its very playfull and kinda looks like an educational company. if the band was going for the vibe, it's a success.
I would however, like to see more concepts. The two presented are basically versions of the same idea.
