I would make that link to the english site more obvious.

It's not made via any template, nor by modifying one. It's build from scratch. I'm interested mainly about the romanian version, not about the english version wich is old and needs replaceing. I agree. The english version link needs to be more obvious. For those who don't like it can you give a few reasons. Wich version don't you like? Both?

The romanian version (the main site), the one that looks like a pile of photos is not made useing a template. The english version looks like a template, because is made by heavyly modifying one.

"Frate", n-am zis nimic de portofoliul tau daca nu stii sa citesti. Am spus de site-ul tau ca mi se pare ca e de 2 lei si un leu si chiar este. Site-urile din portofoliu intr-adevar arata bine dar al tau e varza. Si nu ma mai lua cu oboseli de astea ca nu te-ai nascut invatat. Ai trecut si tu prin stadiul in care sunt eu, iar faptul ca ai 3 lucrari in portofoliu nu iti da dreptul sa vorbesti ca un "mare designer". Vad ca m-ai tinut minte ca ti-am criticat site-ul pe thereadul tau, "frate" =)). Am avut ce...

the Simplicity of mine does not make website visitors run away from coz their eyes are burning.

when i saw you "site" i said that i have never seen such a wrong colour mixing and wrong used flash effects.

go get the design manual start to learn. after some years come back for web site feedback.

vezi care este problema, eu am zic ce pararae am despre saitul tau. dar tu ai zis parerea ta, NICI NAM INTREBAT PE TINE MA FRATE MA!

Stii care e problema. Tu ai avut un thread acum vreo luna si ceva pe site in care cereai pareri despre site. Din cate tin eu minte ti-am pus un comentariu pertinent chiar daca sincer nu imi place deloc. Asta nu inseamna ca nu e bun. Poate e doar o problema de gusturi. Am zis sa fiu finutz si sa nu pun un reply asa categoric ca tine. Ok nu ti-a placut. Puteai sa dai si un motiv pentru care nu iti place. Nu iti place combinatia de culori ok, dar stii si tu ca stilul asta "flashy", care iti ia ochii de design inca prinde in romania. In afara am observat si eu ca trendul este spresite-uri cat mai simple si culori cat mai calde. Ideea e ca chiar daca nu ti-a placut deloc puteai sa pui un reply mai "usor", incurajator ca postul meu cu site-ul tau...Ma rog asta e...Oricum mersi. Si bafta si tie cu site-ul tau.

How about making the coloured tabs pop out when you roll over them. You can use something like Moofx (http://moofx.mad4milk.net/) to give you the javascript functionality you need.

Why are some people on the board so fa**ing horrible? Ever heard of being constructive? To say something is horrible isn’t helpful, and is darn right disrespectful to say the least. I don’t class anyone as a designer with this lack of respect. :rolleyes:

I like the English version better then the other (but then that’s just my taste). Maybe you could make the options between the two languages more visible? Maybe as an index page to prompt the user to choose before entering the site. It’s a good start though, keep at it. :)

Thank you for your post, and I totally agree with you. I had a pretty intense conversation with cojemeachin and I hope he understood what I was refering to. You know what's the ironic thing. He actualy had a thread with his site a while ago and I didn't like it a bit, but I put a constructive and respectful post. Anyway thank you for your imput. That's a lot more helpful than what he tried to do.....:)
