It's almost there but it needs a swoosh swooshing from the starburst to the lens flare.

its pretty good but if you're using photoshop to make this you need to add 01010101010110101001 on top of it and fade it so people know you use a computer to design.

might want to run it through swooshlab. add a 20 degree FutureSwoosh and you'll be the talk of the town. I really don't like how the X covers the r.

Thank you for your advice. I think all of your suggestions really helped. Here is the new, more updated version. And I have an announcement to make. Super Design X now does web design too.

Now I'm going to send an RGB at 72 dpi to be printed on our new business cards.

Absolutely breathtaking.

However, I think a little comic sans would double its greatness.

You know what's funny? Someone without a pancaking clue is going to look at these, and think that they look great.

Where's the font that should not be named!? It's just not uber mad skillz design without it.

I agree with Craig you need to add that font. It will then, and only then approach greatness.

Here is the final logo. Thanks again for all of the suggestions. Does anyone know how I can get this silkscreened on t-shirts?

Craig B

Don't worry, that will silkscreen beautifully on shirts … but you're also missing the obligatory "real estate head shot" so that you can add a "face" to your business.

That is absolutely amazing work my friend! All these years and I've been avoiding the swooshes and lens flares...now I see how good they can really make an image look.

Thanks for inspiring me!! Flippin' sweet!!!

Amazing.

I worked on a similar concept for a standards guide I'm creating. Rainbow gradient filled text with a symbol icon filled with a camouflage pattern.

I know me too I'm good. *double shot with a wink*

wow this is fab... can you tell me how you do it so that i can tell my clients how they can do it themselves for cheaper.. because it only takes two minutes to design a logo!!

also just a pointer for next time... you really didnt use enough fonts in that space... you have to use a much wider variety of fonts!!!!

Reminds me of a catalogue some div at my old company did. We suppled bearings and engineering products and to save a bit of money thought they would design it themselfs, using something like power point maybe. Anyways the catalogue came out looking like a kid had just scribbled on some paper but one thing stood out "You`ve tried the rest now try the best" maybe you should add this to your logo.

LOL!!

when i opened this thread i saw the logo and i was thinking "wow, someone who placed every single hated design idea possible in the same logo!" and then i realized it was a joke.

cracked up!

i haven't laughed this much in ages. LOLxa billion

my girlfriend hates it whenever there's a totally unnecessary lens flare on a TV advertor in one of her magazines...she knows i'm about to get worked up into a rage about it that'll last at least 15 minutes.
