I have spent the last two weeks redesigning my website. I have taken all the advice i have got from this forum (mainly casedesign and big perm). Thanks to your advice I have justfinnished probably the best website i have ever done. I just have to add a photo of me on the about me page. I did all my graphics on photoshop, and i used macromedia flash for manipulation (page transitions) , like you suggested. Tell me what you think, i really dont want to redesign it unless it is really bad, i dont think it is bad but i want your opinion of whether my website looks good. I know I still have a lot to learn, but i will probably make other websites as i go through college.

Major improvements, you see what this forum does to you. LOL!

No seriously the navigation feels much smoother and the whole feel is very organized. You still have to improve on your design skills but leave that for another day, you've come a long way and you should be proud.

Your gonna have a complete advantage over the rest of your class cause you have us on your side. Go out there and make us proud!

looks good.....never be satisfide (misspelld) with your work....constantly look for new and different ideas you always want to push yourself....yes your site is good but keep trying to improve your photoshop skills everyone (including me) can get better --- wait a while, improve some more.... and take a totally new approach to your site - the reason I say that is all of the version of your site have the same feel (size etc)

ok, thanks, i am learning a lot from you, i got some tips on another forum, there is a few changes i am going to make,
1)Learn how to make an e-mail form in flash for the contact me page (i am going to look at some tutorials)
2)I might make some minor adjustments to the text boxes so it isnt an image

Do you think that My website is at the stage where i can leave it alone, whille i work on some other sites to build my portfolio?

I will re-design my website once I have learnt a lot and once I have done some other stuff to build a little bit of a portfolio.

I have broadband in my room again so i can do a lot more :)

i have a few ideas of websites i can make, for myself. I am thinking about making a bruce lee fan site. I am also thinking about doing some artwork on photoshop and putting it all on a website so I can improve my photoshop skills. I am also going to start using more HTML i need to re-install Dreamweaver ;)

i finally got a web hosting account for my website.
the new address will be : www.ice-design.ws
i just got it last nite, and it doesnt seem to be all the way setup (it timesout when i try to upload :( i got my hostinng from godaddy.com and i dont know what is going on i am gonna have to wait about 48 houtrs it said. so i will keep you updated, i have also decided that i am going to redesign my website AgAiN! because big perm is right, i a'm never satisfied with my work, that is the reason i diddnt build a portfolio over the years i am going to start now, hopefully it isn't too late. ill keep ya updated /emoticons/cool.gif
