Hello all

Right now I am working on my page [as always] and am trying to redo the color choice on the first page...I just put a square of color up to get an idea of what this new color im trying out will look like....i definately need some feedack if anyone could be of help or have any suggestions. Thanks everyone!!

hey Cass,

you know what, i think that the grey that you have in the background on your portfolio section sits better with the green nav bars than the mossy kinda green that you have on your about me section.

It'd be nice if the grey inside the two nav bars was the same as the one in the back ground of your portfolio page.

Hi Cass54321,

I am new to these forums, but if you're having trouble finding a working colour harmony, why don't you try ColorSchemer Studio and give it a go? I reviewed it a couple of months ago and found it very easy to create harmonies with it that get you started very quickly.

Or did I misunderstand what you're trying to do?

I just downloaded that colorschemer studio trial. Thanks for the advice. I already figured out my color scheme for this project (the first page)...let me what everyone thinks. But, I never knew a program like that existed. It might come in handy for future projects. Thanks for the advice erik!!

what color green are you intending to use? the one on the index page, or the green on all the other pages?

Because your grey is so dark, how about trying to lightening your green? you wouldn't even have to do it much.

Yah...I am going to try to redo that page. I really like the look on the first page and want to get the design and colors to work through the rest of the piece. Thanks for the advice though! That grey is really dark.

im actually impressed...very nice stuff in your portfolio. looks really pro. nice to see that.

i particularly like the typography piece (student art exhibit). i guess Matthew's (typographics) got some competition on the block ;)
