Hey guys.. So in the middle of the last week of class I have been pullin my hair out trying to finish some paintings, and illy projects, My Teacher asked me if could cook up somthin for the summer art show.. I honorably said yes.. And the n of course, the poster turned into doing the program booklet too.. the previous years were really really amatuerish with just scanned in objects of erasers pencils etc. The art show features traditional art, computer art, photography, and film stuff.. I wanted to go in a complete different direction with this poster.. I wanted to keep it real modern, yet bright and fun.. please tell me what u think.. the images on the left were last minute,(chosen by my teach) overall i think its not bad for being done in 2 days.. Please let me know what u think...By the way its already being printed.

I like it... real space invaders explosionesque

the green text is a little hard to read on the blue... the icons on the left look out of play to me. The location isn't real obviious either.

I think you did a great job!

It's good, but it seems like it has no graphic hiarchy. It's MEDIA, FRIDAY, and then CHAPMAN HALL. My eye struggles with what is important or what I need to know.

Also FESTIVAL going up the side is normally a no-no. I was taught to keep the baseline in towards the center, opposite of how you have it.

its fairly busy. everything of importance is thrown out to the edge...leaving the middle pretty bare, making the layout sorta awkward. also, the colors are kinda funky. some of the typography is interesting, but could have been pushed more. its definitely better than a scanned pencil! :)

I think it's pretty solid, just I had a helluva time trying to find out when/where it is. Much harder time with the when than the where...I'd keep those two elements similar to each other, and far more evident.
