I work for a printing company that has upgraded a few of us to Quark 6 and I am finding that the symbols in the MICR font are not showing in Quark 6. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know of a fix besides downgrading back to 5. Let me know!! Thanks!
I've never had this problem. Quark recently put there forums back up (amazing I know) Try them out. Sorry man. =(

Maybe it's screen font issue? If I remember right, I had to have ATM Lite installed to work with Quark 4/5 so my fonts would be displayed properly. Maybe when you upgraded to Quark 6, it rendered it incompatible with your font previewer?

Unfortunately I don't think it is the screen font. It works in Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. Just not with Quark 6. Sounds like it's just one of those things...it is Quark after all.

Where is the font installed?

Yeah, try putting the font into Library>Fonts
or check if
Quark 6 has it's own font folder in Library>Application Support

i had the same problem, after putting a copy of the font in C:\Program Files\Quark\QuarkXPress 6.0\jaws\ttfont, the next time i started quark the font was available. Hope this helps.
