Importing Text

Ok...so another question. When your copying and pasting text from Illustrator to Indesign (I know, why was it ever typed in Illustrator), if you select the text box and copy/paste it creates outlines or whatever, and the text is then uneditable. If you select all copy/paste then you lose all of the styles. Any idea how to fix this?

Type it in InDesign to begin with. Creating type in Illustrator means you are creating Vector artwork.

Never create text in Illustrator that you want to edit with InDesign. If you create it in Illustrator (or Photoshop), you have to edit it in Illustrator (or Photoshop).
